OLP 8th Graders Prepare to Move on to High School
Our Eighth graders only have a few more months until they become OLP alumni. Over the past few months they have been focused on completing their education at OLP and where they will be going to high school in the Fall.
We are proud of what the class of 2010 has accomplished at OLP. They have already begun to accomplish great things for high school. At Cathedral Prep, three OLP Eighth grade boys placed in the top 10 on the Entrance Exam. These students include: Gregory Coppola, Shaun Evans and Kevin Grisier. We are extremely proud of Shaun who received the top score overall of nearly 200 students who took the test. All three of the boys received a scholarship ranging from $500 - $1000 to attend Cathedral Prep and all three of them plan to be part of the Cathedral Prep class of 2014. OLP was the only school of the 37 represented who had more than one student in the top ten.
The academic success of the class of 2010 does not stop with the boys. Two of our Eighth grade girls placed in the top 10 on the Villa Maria Academy Entrance Exam. Congratulations to Madison Gaiser and Lauren Winchel. Both of them have been awarded a $500 renewable scholarship (to total $2000).
Congratulations to all these students and to the OLP faculty for all the hard work they have done over the years to promote strong academics.
